New fishery cruiser 27/6/08

A new fishery cruiser FPV Hirta was officially commissioned yesterday at Leith in Edinburgh today where the fisheries protection fleet was gathered.

First Minister Alex Salmond said the ship will join Scotland's fleet of fisheries protection vessels in their vital role of safeguarding our seas, sustaining our coastal communities and helping grow the economy.
