Diversity Awareness Conference                          18/7/08

A Diversity Awareness Conference has been organised by the Outer Hebrides Community Planning Partnership Diversity and Equality Steering Group, focusing on how we can make Western Isles communities stronger by inclusion of the diverse nature of our population.

Headline speakers will be Eleanor McKnight (Health Scotland Planning and Equality Directorate, Edinburgh) and Morag Redwood (Highland and Islands Equality Forum, Inverness).

The conference, which is aimed at anyone with an interest in strengthening their community, takes place on Wednesday 27th August at 10am until 4pm in the Hall of St Columba’s Parish Church, Lewis Street, Stornoway.
