Youth released on bail 23/7/08

A Lewis youth facing a sex charge was released on bail when he appeared in court today.

Jack Walker of Back, Lewis had his case heard in private in Stornoway Sheriff Court before Sheriff Gordon Fleetwood.

He appeared from custody and was fully committed to trial. Bail was allowed on special conditions

The 17-year-old is charged with lewd and libidinous behaviour on various occasions in June and July.
