Islander accused of vandalising playground 29/7/08

A Benbecula man appeared in court today charged with throwing a pot of paint into a children’s play park.

It is alleged that Iain Macvicar, 39, of 37 Baile na Cille, Balivanich vandalised the islands’ primary school playground on 26 January.

He made no plea when his case was called at Lochmaddy Sheriff Court today (tues) and Sheriff Andrew Berry continued the matter to next month.
