Youth denies taxi assault 29/7/08
A South Uist youth will face trial on allegations that he injured a man by head-butting him in a taxi and repeatedly punching him in the head which left him bloody.
Christopher Steele of 12 Leonard Place, Daliburgh, denies the charge and also pleaded not guilty to another accusation of fighting in a taxi, disorderly conduct and breach of the peace.
The alleged incidents occurred earlier today and Steel appeared in Lochmaddy Sheriff court later the same day.
